For many Americans, pets have become a big part of our family. When we travel, we opt not to leave our pets behind and we treat them as one of our children. Most pets are impeccably groomed, and know how to behave in public. We are devoted to them as much as they are devoted to us. With 14% of vacationers demanding to bring their pets along, the travel industry is starting to accommodate them (U.S. Travel Association). The percentage of households traveling with their pets increases dramatically during the summer when more families travel on Vacation.

With the constantly growing demand from pet owners for vacations that include their dogs, Vacation Homes Destin is listening. This lovely spacious upscale home is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by tropical landscaping in the gated resort community of Emerald Shores.

Tropical Escape consists of a large living, formal dining, and kitchen area, three baths, three bedrooms, and a loft area for sitting or sleeping. The smoke-free home has wood flooring throughout with the exception of tile in the bathrooms and laundry. The master suite located upstairs has a garden tub in the master bath, king size bed, and doors opening on to a wraparound balcony for that early morning coffee or late evening cocktail. The two guest bedrooms located upstairs offer a queen size bed and two doubles. The bedrooms share a bath. The loft area off of the bedrooms is equipped with a full sleeper sofa and doors opening on to a wraparound balcony for late evening relaxation.

Tropical Escape has a soft, warm spacious living room with a queen sleeper sofa. The fully equipped kitchen is next to the formal dining room, and off of the kitchen are the laundry, a full bath, and large walk-in pantry.

From the moment you arrive to the minute you depart, you’ll have all the comforts of your own private home. Whether you’re seeking solitude or excitement-or both-this 2000 sq. ft. tropical escape beach home is for you! Kick off your shoes, make footprints in the sand, and relax in a home away from home. Emerald Shores is a casual walk to the Gulf of Mexico. If you’re having a lazy day or your hands are full, take the private beach tram which operates seasonally within Emerald Shores.
